A journey in bespoke, handmade jewellery

I have been making bespoke fine jewellery for over 30 years, handmade from my studio in Farnham, Surrey. Formally trained as a traditional goldsmith and diamond mounter and working with exquisitely coloured stones from around the world, I have built a business and reputation on working closely with my customers to create many special individual pieces all made with the love and care of a committed craftsman.

My handmade designs are simple and elegant, marrying traditional forms with a contemporary aesthetic and showing each gemstone off to its maximum potential. Continuous free flowing lines are used to create a balance between the different elements of each piece.

I enjoy the whole process of making handmade jewellery, from handling tools that have barely changed in hundreds of years to working with precious metals. There's a great satisfaction in sourcing a truly distinctive stone and an excitement at what can then be made with it. I really look forward to collaborating with clients and seeing that journey through to a final and often very personal piece of finished jewellery.

I have exhibited on many occasions amongst many other talented jewellers at the internationally acclaimed annual Goldsmiths' Fair held at the Goldsmith's Hall in London, as well as at Origin: The London Craft Fair at Somerset House, Richmond and Chelsea Crafts and Design Fairs and, more locally to me, contemporary shows in Winchester, Brighton and at West Dean College near Chichester.

Away from my work as a jewellery designer, I enjoy walking some of England’s long-distance paths and when possible getting away with the family in an old campervan that I’ve restored. My guitars and dogs are never far away.
